MXR Racing Point Rules
After careful consideration and in collaboration of MXR Managements, we are happy to announce the rules and procedures for awarding points and determining our Geneva Show Down at Sun Down and Season Champions.
Sport Super Stock will be the Geneva class for Sport Riders
Points for each race will be awarded as Follows: (ISOC National System)
Heat Race Final
1st Place = 10 25
2nd Place = 9 22
3rd Place = 8 20
4th Place = 7 18
5th Place = 6 16
6th Place = 5 15
7th Place = 4 14
8th Place = 3 13
9th Place = 2 12
10th Place = 1 11
11th Place = 1 10
12th Place = 1 9
13th Place = 1 8
14th Place = 1 7
15th Place = 1 6
DQ = 0 0
*If disqualified, no points awarded.
Points will be awarded for each Heat Race and the Final. No points will be awarded for LCQ’s if run.
We have decided to base our season format similar to the ISOC National System. We will count each race day as an event (ex. Sport A Saturday 1 event, Sport A Sunday 1 event). So a normal weekend race would count as 2 events. (Ironwood/Blackjack only scheduled 1 day event). If the season goes as planned, we would have a total of 17 events.
The number of events to be counted will be determined by the total events actually run. We will use 75% or a minimum of 9 events (if less than 9 are run, we will use all).
